On 27th February, SAS Foundation proudly extended a financial assistance of ₹50,000 to Sh. Raman Singh, a devoted father, to support his son Arpit Singh’s higher education at UPES, Dehradun. But this contribution is more than just a cheque. It’s a lifeline for a family determined to rise against the odds.
Raman Singh is not a man of many means, but he is a man of immense heart. Life hasn’t been easy for him—balancing financial burdens while taking care of his family that includes his wife, his son Arpit, and his blind daughter. Still, despite the challenges, Raman has remained focused on one thing: his children’s future.
He knows the value of education. He knows that if given the chance, Arpit could soar. But college fees, books, living expenses—they all add up. And like so many parents in India, Raman was left to grapple with an impossible choice: survival today or investment in tomorrow?
