Celebrating Purposeful Impact: SAS Foundation’s Half-Yearly Report (Oct 2024 – Mar 2025)

We’re proud to share the release of our Half-Yearly Report for the period October 2024 to March 2025, and it’s more than just numbers — it’s a reflection of people, purpose, and progress. At Swavalamban Avam Swabhimaan Foundation (SAS Foundation), we’ve always believed that real change begins with empathy and is sustained through consistent action. This report captures that belief in motion — through stories, statistics, struggles, and successes.

From Intent to Impact: Our Collective Journey

In just six months, we touched 8,606 new lives, taking our total impact to a remarkable 101,728 lives since inception. Behind every one of these numbers is a face, a dream, and a journey that we’ve been privileged to support.

Whether it was enabling a student to continue his education, helping a cancer patient access treatment, creating a safe training space for young athletes, or driving environmental consciousness through e-waste recycling drives — every initiative was an opportunity to uplift, empower, and inspire.

Our Pillars. Your Support. Real Change.

Our work this period was grounded in four key focus areas:

A. 📚 Education

From judging national CSR competitions to conducting faculty development programs, we continued our efforts to build a future-ready, skilled, and inspired youth. Our book donation drives reached underprivileged children, and international summits saw us representing India’s voice in global discussions on youth leadership.

B. 🌿 Environment

We organized six e-waste collection drives across Delhi NCR, Bangalore, and Faridabad. Thanks to passionate volunteers like Shravan Dabi, we collected over 1,000 Kgs of e-waste, saving it from ending up in landfills and raising awareness about the invisible threat of electronic waste.

C. 🏥 Health

Health is the cornerstone of dignity. Our webinars led by Dr. Jyoti Rao brought life-saving awareness to topics like cervical cancer. We financially supported treatment for a cancer patient and helped set up a boxing ring in a rural sports academy, combining physical wellness with youth engagement.

D. 🤝 Community Development

Through ration donations, celebration of International Women’s Day, and community workshops, we focused on those often left behind — including visually impaired youth and under-resourced communities. Our President, Ram Dhari, was honored with the Nature’s Grace Achiever’s Award for his relentless work in grassroots upliftment.

A Culture of Transparency and Collaboration

Our report goes beyond activities. It includes detailed financials, a month-wise breakdown of fund utilization, and an overview of our partnerships — like the exciting MoU with Shihaan Tech Global Pvt. Ltd. to run youth podcasts and learning series.

We also maintained our high standards of governance, publishing audited accounts, and involving trustees and volunteers across every level of decision-making. We don’t just work for communities — we work with them.

Why You Should Read the Report

Because it’s not just our report — it’s your story too. If you’ve ever volunteered with us, donated, cheered us on, or simply believed in what we stand for, this report reflects what we achieved together. It’s filled with inspiring moments, photos, and behind-the-scenes insights into how small actions led to big transformations.

Whether you’re a donor, policymaker, student, CSR head, or a curious citizen — you’ll find something in these pages that will move you, energize you, and perhaps even nudge you to join us in this journey.
