Today, SAS Foundation was humbled to receive a donation of around 200 brand-new t-shirts and shorts from Ms. Verma, a generous individual who chose to turn personal loss into public good. Her husband had to shut down their t-shirt manufacturing unit during the COVID-19 pandemic, leaving behind unsold inventory. Rather than letting it go to waste, she decided to give it a second life—one that brings dignity and warmth to those in need.
While many in her position might have opted for quick distribution near local gurudwaras, Ms. Verma went the extra mile. She conducted thorough research online to identify trustworthy NGOs and eventually chose SAS Foundation based on our impact, transparency, and presence in community development. Her faith in our work is not only encouraging but also a strong reminder of the responsibility we carry.
We are proud to share that these clothes will now be distributed to blind hostels, orphanages, and children’s homes across the region—bringing comfort and joy to young hearts who deserve every bit of love and care.
