In the aftermath of COVID-19, many small businesses were forced to shut down. Among them was a garment manufacturing unit owned by the family of Ms. Promila Verma. What was left behind wasn’t just a factory—it was hope wrapped in unsold inventory.
Rather than letting these brand-new 200+ t-shirts and shorts gather dust, Ms. Verma made a powerful decision: to give them a second life by donating them to the underserved. But she didn’t stop at good intentions—she did her research.
After evaluating multiple NGOs, she zeroed in on SAS Foundation—trusting in our credibility, impact, and ongoing commitment to social change. Her belief in our mission is not just a compliment—it’s a responsibility we proudly carry forward.
We’re thrilled to share that her generous donation will now be distributed to:
👕 Blind hostels
👕 Orphanages
👕 Children’s homes
For these children and young individuals, it’s more than just a piece of clothing—it’s a gesture of dignity, inclusion, and care. It’s a warm hug from someone they’ve never met, reminding them they matter.
At SAS Foundation, we believe impact doesn’t always begin with large grants or big campaigns. Sometimes, it starts with someone like Promila ji—choosing to transform adversity into purpose.
🙏 A heartfelt thank you to her and to everyone who believes in supporting humanity with heart and humility.
Let’s continue building a world where no act of kindness is too small to spark meaningful change.
