Green Champions Internship 2025: A Movement Powered by Youth

In a world where environmental challenges seem overwhelming, it’s the small, committed actions that drive real change. And often, those actions come from the most unexpected places — our students.

With immense pride, we announce the successful completion of the Green Champions Internship 2025, an initiative by SAS Foundation that empowered school students to become eco-warriors in their communities.

💡 What Was the Internship About?

The two-week internship began with an inspiring online awareness session on “E-Waste and the Importance of Recycling”, delivered by sustainability expert Anshika Bhardwaj from Attero, India’s leading e-waste management company.

Post-session, our student enrollees were given a mission:
➡️ Spread awareness about e-waste and its proper recycling to as many people as they could — be it family, neighbors, or friends.

👣 The Impact They Made

In just 2 weeks, these young changemakers reached out to 27 individuals in their networks — educating, influencing, and igniting conversations about responsible e-waste disposal.

Whether it was helping someone understand how to dispose of an old phone, explaining the dangers of dumping batteries, or simply encouraging recycling habits, these students proved one thing:

Each intern was awarded a Green Champion Impact Certificate and a Completion Letter, recognizing their hard work and community outreach. But the real reward was something greater — the realization that even one voice can spark a movement.
