Continuing our heart-led mission of Swabhimaan (Dignity), the team at SAS Foundation NGO Delhi recently visited this sanctuary for street children to distribute brand-new T-shirts to the young residents. This distribution was not just a charity event; it was a celebration of resilience, made possible by the extraordinary generosity of Ms. Promila Verma, who turned a personal business challenge into a powerful social impact story.

A Gift with Meaning: Turning Loss into Legacy

The story behind this donation is as touching as the smiles it created. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, it forced the closure of Ms. Verma’s T-shirt manufacturing unit. Like many entrepreneurs, she was left with a warehouse full of high-quality, unsold stock.
