Shaping Futures Through Stories: SAS Foundation’s Book Donation at Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya

“A nation’s culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people.” – Mahatma Gandhi

At SAS Foundation, we strongly believe that education is not just about classrooms and exams—it is about nurturing young minds with the values, wisdom, and inspiration drawn from history, culture, science, and the lives of great leaders. True learning is about connecting students to their roots while preparing them for the future.

In alignment with this vision, we recently donated 102 inspirational books to Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya, Sector 5, Dwarka, South West Delhi (now rebranded as CM Shri School). The books are a collection of biographies—covering the lives of saints, gods, national heroes, scientists, freedom fighters, brave women leaders, presidents, and cultural icons—carefully chosen to spark curiosity and inspire students to dream big.

A Warm Welcome and an Inspiring Institution

We were warmly welcomed by Principal Ms. Monika Batra, who not only appreciated our initiative but also demonstrated how the school is pioneering education beyond the conventional curriculum. She gave us a tour of the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL), established with the support of Dell Technologies, which empowers students to innovate and experiment.

What stood out even more were the projects in hydroponic farming and fish culture, giving students exposure to sustainable practices and future-facing skills. These initiatives are living proof that education is not confined to textbooks—it thrives in hands-on learning, creativity, and community-driven exploration.

The Principal’s Vision: Blending Culture with Innovation

Ms. Batra passionately spoke about the need to balance modern education with cultural grounding. She emphasized that while technology and innovation are crucial, it is equally important for our youth to remain connected with India’s history, values, and heritage.

This resonates deeply with SAS Foundation’s belief that a strong sense of identity empowers children to face the challenges of tomorrow with confidence and resilience. Stories of leaders like Rani Lakshmi Bai, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, and Sant Kabir not only inform young readers but also ignite in them a sense of pride, courage, and responsibility.

A Growing School, A Growing Impact

Currently, the school nurtures around 524 students, a number soon to rise to 800 with the new academic intake. By donating these books, we aim to contribute to the school’s culture of academic excellence and holistic development, ensuring every student has access to role models who can guide them through the power of stories.

The books were received with gratitude by the Principal and the Librarian, who saw them as valuable additions to the school’s resources for shaping young minds.

Gratitude and Partnerships

We extend heartfelt thanks to Shri Sukhbir Yadav ji, whose support and guidance enabled us to reach such impactful institutions. Collaborations like these remind us that change is never a solo effort—it is the collective spirit of individuals, institutions, and communities coming together for a greater cause.

Why This Matters

At SAS Foundation, our initiatives in education are anchored in a simple yet profound belief: Knowledge is power, and stories are the carriers of wisdom. By providing access to inspirational literature, we hope to plant seeds of curiosity, courage, and creativity in the minds of young learners.

When students read about the struggles, sacrifices, and triumphs of great leaders, they see possibilities for themselves. They learn resilience from freedom fighters, wisdom from saints, determination from scientists, and courage from women warriors. These stories help shape their sense of self and responsibility to society.

The Way Forward

This book donation is not an end—it is a beginning. It reflects our ongoing commitment to create opportunities for children to learn, explore, and grow. As the school expands its reach to 800 students, we remain committed to supporting educational ecosystems that foster both innovation and identity.

The future belongs to our youth. And by combining knowledge, culture, and innovation, we can ensure that they are not just prepared for tomorrow, but also inspired to lead it.

✨ At SAS Foundation, we continue to ask: How can we contribute to a world where every child has both the wings to fly and the roots to remain grounded?
