In a world increasingly driven by technology and fast-paced change, the power of a good story remains timeless. Stories have the unique ability to spark imagination, shape values, and inspire young minds to dream beyond boundaries. At SAS Foundation, we believe that every child deserves not just an education — but inspiration — the kind that can light the path to greatness.
Recently, SAS Foundation donated 102 inspirational books to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar School of Specialised Excellence (ASoSE), Sector 22, Dwarka, Delhi. This initiative was a continuation of our ongoing mission to ignite curiosity, strengthen values, and nurture leadership among students through the written word.
Though we missed meeting Ms. Jaya Shree, the Principal of ASoSE, we were warmly received by Ms. Shweta Banga, the school’s Librarian — a true advocate of learning beyond textbooks. Her enthusiasm to introduce these books into the library was deeply motivating, reaffirming our belief that educators are the torchbearers of transformation.
The books we contributed were not random selections — they were biographies of India’s most inspiring figures: scientists who redefined innovation, saints who spread wisdom, freedom fighters who sacrificed everything for the nation, and brave women who stood tall against all odds. Each book represents a story of courage, conviction, and contribution — the very values we hope to cultivate in the next generation.
With around 500 students in the school, this contribution was more than a donation — it was an investment in human potential. For us, each biography handed over is a spark waiting to ignite a young reader’s imagination, a reminder that greatness often begins with a single idea, a single dream, or a single book.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Shri Sukhbir Yadav ji, whose continuous support connects us to schools led by dynamic principals and passionate educators. His guidance helps us reach places where small acts of kindness can create lasting impact.
At SAS Foundation, we see education not just as the transfer of knowledge but as the transformation of lives. Through every initiative — be it e-waste drives, health programs, or book donations — we strive to build a society where learning inspires action and compassion drives progress.
Because when children read about heroes, they start to believe they can become one too.
