Lighting Lives and Spreading Joy: SAS Foundation Celebrates Dhanteras with Rashtriya Blind Hostel

This Dhanteras 2025, Swavalamban Avam Swabhimaan Foundation (SAS Foundation) reaffirmed its commitment to social inclusiveness and community welfare by bringing festive cheer to the Rashtriya Blind Hostel & Training Center (RBHTC) in Goyala Dairy, Dwarka, Delhi.

On 18th October 2025, SAS Foundation donated ration and essential groceries to the hostel, ensuring the students had the basic provisions they need for their daily lives. To make the Diwali celebrations even more special, the Foundation also gifted boxes of ladoos to the residents. RBHTC is home to around 40 visually impaired students, all of whom are pursuing their education with dedication and are determined to carve meaningful careers for themselves.

SAS Foundation has proudly partnered with RBHTC for the past three years, providing consistent support to enhance the well-being and inclusivity of its students. Past initiatives have included blanket and stationery distribution, as well as funding repairs and renovations of hostel bathrooms, ensuring safe and hygienic living conditions. Each initiative is designed to uphold dignity, promote self-reliance, and create opportunities for students to thrive in society.
