Inclusion is Not Charity—It is a Responsibility We Must Own

In a world striving for progress, true development is not measured by infrastructure or technology alone—it is measured by how inclusively we grow as a society. At SAS Foundation, inclusion is not just a value; it is a continuous commitment translated into action.

This quarter, we extended our support once again to 40 inspiring young residents of the Rashtriya Blind Hostel & Training Center (RBHTC), located in Dwarka, Delhi. These students, coming from economically weaker backgrounds across villages and cities in India, have chosen education and self-reliance as their path forward. What they need is not sympathy—but access, dignity, and opportunity.

A Journey of Consistent Commitment Since 2022

Our association with RBHTC began in 2022, with a simple yet powerful intent—to contribute meaningfully to the lives of visually impaired students striving for independence. Over time, this relationship has evolved into a sustained effort focused on holistic well-being.

Every quarter, SAS Foundation ensures the provision of essential ration and groceries to support the hostel’s daily needs. Beyond that, our initiatives have included:

• Distribution of blankets during harsh winters
• Provision of hygiene essentials like toothbrushes
• Donation of stationery to support academic growth
• Repairs and renovation of hostel bathrooms to ensure better living conditions

Each of these actions, while seemingly small in isolation, collectively contributes to building a more dignified and supportive environment for these young individuals.

From Support to Empowerment

At SAS Foundation, we strongly believe that empowerment is not about temporary assistance—it is about enabling long-term independence. The students at RBHTC are not defined by their visual impairment; they are defined by their resilience, ambition, and determination to build meaningful careers.
