Greater Faridabad Steps Up: A Powerful Chapter in Our E-Waste Journey

On 6th July 2025, SAS Foundation successfully conducted its 20th E-Waste Collection Drive – our 7th in Faridabad – and what a milestone it turned out to be!

With each drive, we aren’t just collecting old gadgets—we are cultivating a culture of environmental responsibility, and Faridabad is emerging as a leading light in this movement. This time, the residents of Sector 76, Greater Faridabad responded with inspiring enthusiasm and commitment to sustainable living.

Led by the passionate duo Aayushi Dabi and Shravan Dabi, and joined by Arjun from Attero, the drive saw a meaningful exchange with residents on the harmful effects of e-waste and the importance of safe recycling. Conversations turned into action as people walked in with their unused devices, each donation echoing a pledge to protect our planet.

📦 Here’s a glimpse of what was collected:

• 23 Smartphones
• 1 Laptop
• 1 Mixer/Grinder

This single drive added a significant weight to our journey—bringing our total e-waste collection this year to ~2962 Kgs! We had revised our 2025 target to 3 tonnes, and we are now almost there, thanks to the unwavering support from responsible citizens like you.

🙏 A heartfelt THANK YOU to Mr. Abhishek Dwivedi and his team, whose proactive leadership has been instrumental in building momentum in Sector 76. With his support, we’ve now organized 6 drives in this locality alone, collecting and responsibly recycling over 700 Kgs of e-waste.

Today, our e-waste collection drives span across 5 cities:
Delhi | Gurgaon | Faridabad | Mumbai | Bangalore
And this is just the beginning—more cities are on our radar.
