Sustainability does not begin in recycling plants. It begins at home.
What happens when a community decides that old devices should not become tomorrow’s environmental burden?
On 6 July 2026, residents of BPTP Park Floor II Apartments, Sector 76, Faridabad, answered this question with action.
In collaboration with Grandeur Recycling Private Limited, SAS Foundation organized an E-Waste Collection Drive that brought together residents, environmental champions, and sustainability advocates under one common mission—to create awareness, encourage responsible disposal, and move one step closer to a circular economy.
What unfolded was more than a collection drive.
It became a story of participation, creativity, environmental leadership, and collective responsibility.
Small Devices. Big Impact.
Electronic waste is among the fastest-growing waste streams globally. Yet most people underestimate the environmental footprint of unused gadgets lying in drawers, storerooms, and cabinets.
During the drive, residents actively contributed:

When Sustainability Meets Art
One of the most memorable moments of the day came through the presence of Udit Narayan Baisla ji.
A contemporary waste artist, Udit ji is known for transforming discarded wires, plastics, and industrial scrap into visually powerful artworks that challenge the way we think about waste.
His work sends a simple but profound message:
Waste is not the end of value. It is the beginning of transformation.
Through his innovative “waste wire art,” environmental concerns become stories. Scrap becomes expression. Discarded material becomes inspiration.
As a gesture of encouragement and shared commitment toward sustainability, Udit ji graciously presented one of his artworks to SAS Foundation.
The artwork serves as more than a gift—it is a reminder that environmental change requires both systems and imagination.
